Homeward

A little Wyld family effort from early on in the UK’s first lockdown: Homeward. Words by Nona Wyld, music by me. Performed by:

  • Nona Wyld - spoken word
  • Cecilia Wyld - cello
  • Alison Wyld - horn
  • Simon Wyld - trombone
  • Ralph Wyld - vibraphone

Just clicked ‘Delete Account’ on both Facebook and Whatsapp. Thought I’d be elated, but I’m left with anxiety to the point of physical chest pain. I am definitely well shot of them.

Submitted my tax return over 6 months earlier than I’ve ever done before. Admittedly it’s a bit simpler this year, but it feels good. I have every intention of making it a habit…

Currently reading: The Girl In The Spider’s Web by David Lagercrantz πŸ“š I feel this may lack a little je ne sais quoi over the Stieg Larsson original trilogy, but still enjoying it. I’ve always loved the way these books mix action and thrills with making coffee and a sandwich.

> You won’t find Schneider’s music on Spotify, YouTube, or various other platforms in which she has no faith. Schneider’s career is a stand against the industry ‘plagues’ she discussed in 2017, and it’s hard to argue with her success.

Always European in my heart! Happy Europe day everyone. πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί

Finished reading: In a House of Lies by Ian Rankin πŸ“š I’ve lost track of which of the 24 Rebus novels I’ve read. This was definitely new to me though, and very enjoyable as always.
