Journey in Film

I started taking film photos in July 2017, on a trip to Villars-Sur-Ollon in the Swiss Alps. Dave Hamblett, a friend, drummer, and photographer, had enthused me enough to dig out my dad’s Canon EOS 300.

Since then I’ve acquired a few more cameras, and shot many rolls of film. As a musician I’m lucky to travel a lot for work, and have taken my camera(s) with me all over the world.

I’ve shared a few of the photos on Instagram, but most of them sit unseen on a hard drive. I’m going to start sharing highlights from each roll I’ve had developed, under the heading ‘Journey in Film’.

Another amazing recording venue today - this time it was aboard Lightship 95. Formerly guiding ships off the coast of Deal, Kent, in the English Channel, it’s now the home of ā€œSoup Studiosā€.

More images of today’s recording venue. Beautifully furnished!
